Foods that accelerate ageing

As a rule I wouldn’t advise avoiding any foods, but  there are foods that, if consumed frequently, accelerate ageing. Sugar attaches itself to collagen, and trans-fats found in fast and packaged foods clog cell walls, arteries and small blood vessels making skin look old and wrinkled. Salt, caffeine and alcohol are dehydrating; dehydration leads to fatigue which can make you look worn out and tired. Fizzy and energy  drinks erode tooth enamel which can cause yellow staining. Life is about balance, I strive to live by the 80/20 rule, if I can eat well 80% of the time, I’m happy with that, after all, life is short and a little of what you fancy does you good.
